The hoodoo is broken. Celebrate in here.

One of the more satisfying wins this season. Hall was very good and Craig Bolton was outstanding. Poor Leo must have insulted someone in the umpires department because he just can't get on their right side at the moment.

I just got home as well, also with less voice than usual. I spent most of the first half abusing the umpires who seem to love paying free kicks in our back line. I was more forgiving in the end as we ran out comfortable winners in the end.

All in all a good birthday present.

Pretty satisfying win all round. Contributions from almost everyone on the ground, and even while the Bombers looked dangerous on the break, I was semi-confident that we had just a touch too much class around the ground.

There seems to be something mentally strong and efficient about this team that has maybe been missing in recent years. Tonight they weren't spectacular but just went about their business in a controlled, disciplined fashion against reasonable opposition in OK form.

We're definitely a deserving top 4 team at the moment. Let's hope it stays that way.

Great win. Great atmosphere at the AFL club where we started a slow Sydney chant towards the end that got the team across the line. Important win, too.

Yep, let's hope that the Roos lose tomorrow.

I'm just enjoying the afterglow. Let's leave it till early next week to work out how big an ask it'll be to beat the Lions next week. It looks like Jon Brown will be out for that game - or Leigh is foxing.

Cheer Cheer etc - my throat is sore

Really playing good solid team football at the moment. We may not be the most skillful team around, but if we continue to play disciplined football with touches of class, we can be a real challenger, particularly in such an even year. It's all completely in the hands of the team.

AWESOME! Sure there were some clangers but in the end we finally did it. The last ten minutes of the final quarter was the sort of stuff that makes going to the footy worthwhile. Am very pleased that I came down to Melbourne for this game. Singing the club song at the end of the game down at the Lockett end with all the other Swans supporters was a great moment.

It goes to show we can do it with the opposing team having roughly 10 more frees than us.

classic game. How good was Jason Ball early. Nice to see the rats deserting a sinking ship. How feral are those Bomber fans?

Good solid team effort with only a few standouts (Hall & CBolt). Plenty of room for improvement from the likes of Davis & Williams (who has been tagged out of the game all year and has been unable to break the shackles). I thought Scheids did well and I liked the effort of "Henk" Vogels. Mathews was his usual unproductive self and Dempster has to learn to do something more than just blanket his man.
