    He will come good

After watching Nick develop as a youngster and see his improvement over his years at Magpie land. Despite the fact that he is mentally weak, I have no doubt that he will come good.

I went to the Hawks/Swans match and saw a Nick Davis who had his same habits but same class - How good was that goal off one step!

His troubled groin reduced his input in our side last year yet he still yielded 30 something goals with his class still evident particularly in R22 and the Prelim Final with is timely goals.

However as classy and freaky as he may be, don't ever expect him to do the hard stuff like sheparding (apart from lead screening), tackles etc. It's not his style nor will it ever be. He a precious talent with good physical attributes (good overheard, good evasive skills and when his groin is better, good speed, good leap)

It should be interesting to see how he goes against us.

He'll either blitz us or stay in his shell.

I'll be watching him with great interest

BTW - The pick that we got 23? Bo Nixon currently playing for Williamstown and seems to have just found his feet playing with the bigger boys compared to the TAC cup. He should be alright (Versatile 190cm, can play key forward/back-Tall or Small, as well as midfeild) but no where near as good as Nick
    should be.

    Cheers

I reckon that its great that supporters of other clubs get to this site and post their views. Cheers Spoon. I think Nick'll be good too. But he can't rest on his laurels just 'cause he was homesick (Saturday night being an exception). Having said that, his profile is good for NSW footy, and I hope that more local quality can shine for us as much as he has for the Pois. Come home to NSW Mark Mcveigh (be an example for your little brother), and for that matter, any other NSW/ACT born players-especially the good ones

Imagine if Hird wanted to play for Sydney (instead of going to Essenbum), or some bright spark didn't trade away Carey for a six pack.
