My thoughts too when I saw that - I hope that ump has to explain why he denied NOG his shot at goal. He would have been kicking from about 60m IIRC.

I headed for the bar every time Lloyd marked - I had tme to finish it and still get back to my seat in time to see the shot.

What I like about Ablett is that he is physically tough, strong, doesn't get injured much nowadays and is a good kick.

Even under pressure he kicks it 40-50 forward - at least the opposition has to kick it back the same distance.

We must watch him over the summer if he isn't contracted - Melb clubs will be after him.
