    Swans need pressure

I was reading something DST posted elsewhere and started thinking about how well the team can play when it "clicks". The turning point seemed to be the R15 Cats game - after our Tigers loss and the beginning of our month of hell. That game we started playing fluid footy (9 goals in Q2?) and we've rarely lifted our foot off the pace since then. The only disappointment was the Adelaide game where we outplayed them but didn't kick well.

So our run home may be what we need - 2 out of 3 hard matches. Perhaps the big worry is the Hawks game but ideally we'll not have to strain as much that game as, say, the Crows and Weagles will that weekend.

Get into the finals and let's see how our game plan and final experience gets us through.

Noone is talking much about the Nullarbor effect this year. But the Saints have to play at Subi in R21 then the Lions in R22.

Let's really hope we are playing the Crows in the first week of finals. They will also have just returned from WA - and AAMI isn't as daunting for us as Subi.

We just need more wins in the next three rounds than Saints or Roos. That pressure may keep us going well.
