Hay needs to get a kick more than anything else. Talk about over rated duds.

we need to recruit ray hall. he'll be good down in defence and can also play ruck if need be.

I was pushing for Ray to come home the last couple of years.

But if Schuable cant get a game, then we really dont need one at the moment, so best to draft in a young one for when Leo Barry retires.

To be honest, I havent seen Schmidt nor Willoughby play but I feel that we do lack some pace through the midfield. None of Kirk, Ablett, Moore or Bolton could be considered as genuine quick, same for McVeigh. It is too early to tell with Malceski. Buchanan's pace off the mark is very good. That is why his good form bears so much in our improved performance of later. In some ways, ditto for Williams's comeback from injury. But our cupboard of pacy midfielders is still bare. I do hope we could rectify this. Not by drafting some elite runners like McVeigh (or Fosdike) but may be by getting some genuine quick midfielders over 20-30 metres who could ideally kick the Sherrin with either foot.

Time to "unleash" the talented Garubba.

I reckon Lance Whitnall would be a good pick up, he would make a great CHB.

                What will happen to LRT?

Is everyone still entertaining the thought of Vogels down back? Personally i would like to keep him forward as we look alot more dangerous having a true third tall.

                  Excellent point!!!!
I can't help wondering what's going through the coaching staff's head about him. If he's not recalled against North we'll know he's been scrapped.

I think DST's right, although we still need another super pacy midfielder and I've been crying out for another true KPP for years but I'd be surprised if either of these were offered for trade this season.

We may be forced to look towards youngsters and developing existing talent.
At this stage Dempster plays on smalls and mediums in the firsts and Smokey is playing on a flank in the two's so don't expect either of them to turn into KPP's (certainly not any time soon).

It would be nice to have a Full Back in the team.

We do need a genuine All-Australian attacking midfielder to get us to the next level. If he is not in our current glut of young midfielders then Roos needs to fire all of the people responsible for recruitment.

Better yet a KPP that can play at either end.

WTF? I'd hand in my membership if we got him! Dud. As is Hay. (Well, that's not totally true, but injuries have cruelled him.) Croad maybe; Lance, no. Seriously, I'd prefer LRT than Lance, as there's more upside.

                              Kosi would've been grand.

Actually about 700 grand from all reports.
