Given that the Heritage Round is all about celebrating the history of the game, where should we play our Heritage Round game? Against who?

Would be nice to have the Swans play in Melbourne during Heritage Round for once (wouldn't even matter who it was against Melbourne team-wise) and would mean alot more to more people. But its the AFL not the Swans who make that call and if they think having the game in Sydney is the best option than fine.Once was, now elsewhere -
If my recent suggestion to the Melbourne Office gets up, we could play the heritage round in Sydney every year and then nominate one game a year in Melbourne (early and at the "G") where we play in the old kit.
Allows the Melbourne office to market the game in Melbourne to any South Melbourne supporters who still have a soft spot and follow the team to come along and hopefully convert them to financial members.
From all accounts their are another 5,000 to 10,000 supporters who attend games infrequently in Melbourne who are not members.
The team running out on the 'G" in the Red V in our first match of the year can only help membership numbers in my opinion. They can also flog the jumpers at the Membership tent as well.
Win, win for everyone.

And it would be even better if that game can be in the first two or three weeks of the season!!Originally posted by DST
