It certainly was the closest Ressies match I've seen in quite a while!

Saw a lot of Spriggs on the bench toward the end of the match. Looked like he broke his nose, but previously, he had been looking remarkably sharp out on the field.

Maxi seemed to do ok, though doubt he will get a run with the seniors, considering their current form (and injuries KOW). But never say never, right?

And I believe that was Kieran Jack. Pretty sure his dad was sitting a few rows ahead of us. It was like being transported back to my childhood -- Dad was a huge Balmain Tigers supporter...

Nonetheless, 'twas a good arvo. After seeing 4 AFL games plus a handful on International Cup games when in Melbourne last week, I was thankful for my footy fix on Saturday arvo. It was CERTAINLY better than what the Wobblies produced on Saturday night

And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.

I'm sorry you had to sit in the cold watching such an insipid display - scoreless for 70 minutes of the game? Shocking!

And no, I don't like ugly rugby union.

Aw, thanks for your concern, Sam. Oh, a horrible game, played with zero passion... a waste of my time. As soon as I walked into the members bar, I knew I had transferred my allegience to the game known to the collars-up types as 'boys netball'. I have crossed over to the good side! Halelujah!

Of all the areas of his body to injure! Say it ain't so, Tuesday, say it ain't so!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

              Has anyone seen Erickson play?
              Is he any good?
              Is he really 15ft tall?

15 feet tall and arms as big as tree trunks
An instrument with only 9 notes! Surely it's easy to play?

First time the seniors won by a bigger margin than the reserves did - poor effort Ressies!
