    We get nailed too many times for soft free kicks in our back line that lead directly to goals (a la Lucas) - & it's all the more striking coz BBBH doesn't get even the obvious ones paid to him.

      I think the Swans are doing okay. We do give away a lot of free kicks, but on the plus side of the ledger is that since round 1 2003 Swans players have lost a total of three weeks to suspension.

      The umps are paying frees against us, but laying no reports. Provided we win, I would rather have 10 extra frees against per game than have an important player suspended for a crucial game.
