Good review but the following is incorrect:

How could they face a team that had only played twice at Telstra Stadium, suffering heavy defeats both times?
We had only played Brisbane once before at TS - the 2003 prelim final.

I'm pretty sure she meant the pre season game this year when the Lions belted us( I was gonna say a**e r***d but i refrained Scott H ). Erin can correct me though.

We'd actually played the Lions 3 times at Telstra before last weekend - once in a Wiz Fizz cup game in 2003 (IIRC), 2003 PF and 2005 Wizard Regional Challenge and lost all 3 games by decent sized margins.

              I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

OK, sorry. I guess I dont give any credit to pre season games given that Sydney appears to have no great interest in winning them.,

Nice report Erin. There was a tall aura about us on the weekend. Like we were meant to be the big boys in the contest. A 4 Quarter effort will do that for you.

If we're to go interstate in the first week, then we need that belief.

It starts this weekend. We have to dominate physically and mentally. We have to show the Roos that this Swans outfit bears no pain from the scars of the past.

I respect the Roos a lot. They are fighters with a lot of talent. Don't be fooled by that "shinboner" @@@@. They're the real McCoy! If we take the Roos apart by 6 or more goals this weekend, then I reckon we can and will beat anyone on any ground till the flag is ours.
