    Who gives a toss?

Having just watched last weekend's game again I was left wondering the same thing as when i watched the game the first time

Did Kirky actually win the toss? To me, the body language and talk looked more as if it was Voss's choice...so I wondered if, in the spirit that it was Kirk's grandfather who tossed the coin, did Vossy offer him the choice of ends?

    If he did...nice touch.
If he didnt....i am off to either my psychiatrist or optometrist, cos I am clearly seeing things

Does anyone else see it this way? Or can someone watch the toss of the coin again?

I'm not going to answer because I don't give a toss.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

There was a touch of confusion in the commentary box over who won the toss. That's all I have.

        Good one, Grandpa Kirk.

I thought that too - looking up at the big screen, I think Voss won it but gave the call to Kirk - so nice thing to do.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Kirky is claiming the win in his Optus report this week. He doesn't strike me as someone who would do that if he didn't win it. I think he'd be more inclined to create a story over Voss' gesture, if that had happened.

On a cool clear day without a breath of wind at the first siren, the toss meant nothing.

Not like Roosy did a Terry Wheeler and got some info from an old fisherman who claimed a late gale would come through for the last quarter.

Kirky won the toss, however Pop didn't give the coin much of a spin, more of a toss than a spin actually!

I was under the impression the away team called heads/tails. If they call the wrong one, then the home captain gets to choose.

On the weekend, Voss lost the toss. Kirk chose the northern end.
