Jolly was well worth a late 1st round pick. We got caned for that trade earlier in the year, but I think we came out ahead.

Jolly is the Bertie Beetle showbag. Cheap, but very good value.

I reckon Jolly has been an excellent addition to the side. He has given Ball new legs and I would imagine a longer career at the Swans if both can stay away from major injury. This is really Jolly's first full season of footy, he is 23 and been under the tutelage of an excellent ruckman at Melbourne. IMO he has the potential to be one of the best big men in the game.

Ottens is ecxellent when playing at his best and would have been a huge addition to the side IF he remained injury free. But very happy with Jolly.

It amazing how young Jolly is. And the great thing about his time at Melbourne is that his body is still very fresh from only play 20-30mins per game behind white.

Big men dont tend to peak until late 20's, so there is tremendous upside with Jolly. Could easily be our best trade since Barry Hall.

The weakest part of his game is when he plays FF. Doesnt seem to use his body that well in packs. If he could add that to his game, he could be anything.

Maybe we could get SOS to help out Jolly as well as LRT.

I've been happy with Jolly as an acquision, and he is also happy to be with Sydney.

The only black mark against his name is that he was suspended for more games than the rest of the side put together. It's not a problem because the total number of games that Swans have lost to suspension since round 1 2003 is three (Jolly got 2, Maxfield 1).

We all know that Jolls suspension was a complete joke though. So i can defiantely forgive him for that

And i agree that Jolly has been a top buy. filled an instant need which helped Bally get some much needed assistance and most importantly kept Goodes out of the ruck risking any injury.

That suspension was a technical farce.
