Didn't watch Talkin Footy but the only reason our game was mentioned on On the couch was because Melbourne went to sleep in the last qtr. They did dedicate about one sentence to schneider. It is if the swans have not existed this year.Healy never mentioned our matches on Sports Tonight against Freo or Adelaide.I'm not sure whether he talked about the Hawthorn Match. He did review the Dees match last night on the radio but again it was focussed solely on how bad Melbourne were.It seems we are escaping criticism for some pretty ordinary footy this year.

You know, I like those shows, but they really need to be 2 hours long and to dedicate at least 10 minutes to each game.

It's always Essendon, The Eddies, Adelaide etc that get the airtime...

It's been that way every episode this year so far. With the Caro/Watson combination, it's either Talking Richmond, Talking Essendon, or both. Bruce often gets a bit of the Adelaide teams in, but Perth and Sydney usually miss out.

        Bring back Blighty & Mikey.
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

Spot on. Add maybe 15 to 20 minutes of the off-field news of the week... plus ads and you've got a very nice 2 hour show. Scrap the stupid interviews!! I tune into Talking Footy for the first 15 minutes, then when the interview starts I switch off.

The Monday night show on Optus has been the same since it started in 1996, without club training, which in the arly days was real treat.

I complained to Optus a number of years ago when Kevin Sheedy, Terry Wallace and all those self promoters were on for 45 minutes, and at about 8.55pm they would rush through about 3 games in record time. Nothing has changed.

They just don't understand that ever since TV started the fans have wanted post mortems and previews, not wasting time interviewing players for extended time, when they are of interest to the minority of viewers. The questions seem to be very much the same each week.

I do though enjoy watching Mike Sheahan and Wilson trying to be incisive. More of the real stuff thanks. You rarely see them analysing, say Stuart Maxfields playing style etc. It would be really good to see them try to educate the fans on the tactics, styles, rotations etc. Maybe what a backman is doing right or wrong, or doing a session on the way Lloyd, Hall, Neitz Fevola play full forward.

The could show why Kirk had only 5 stats as a tagger and show footage of how he went about his game.

You're right Charlie, the interviews are OK, but they are really targeting only one team.

So 3/4 of the show can be boring.
I just watch for Caro to make an ass of herself.

Tim does too sometimes, but at least he can laugh at himself, and doesn't pretend to be a football God.

You know, on the weekend, Sydney came from 3 goals behind at 3/4 time, to win by 4 in a 10 goal 1/4
Add to that, the Bolton injury , and it being the first Sydney Anzac Day match, I would have thought it worth a mention....

Well stop complaining and start the Sydney focus.
p.s. LRT and Powell aparently starred on the weekend,
looks like the two replacements for Schauble and Bolton!
                Staying ahead of the game...

They did talk about our game, and talked more about us than Melbourne's fade out. They mentioned Ball's great game, said a bit about Schneider and Hall. They don't mention every team every week. If you want that watch the club shows. As for the interviews, I turn off them if they are players but tend to watch the coaches. Player interviews are a complete waste of time.
