    Are we short changed?

I was looking for the official team lists for this week and ended on the Roos website. I found the following announcement:

Join the Roos at the SCG
    10:37:35 PM Tue 16 August, 2005
    kangaroos.com.au
Kangaroos fans are invited to the club's official post match function this Sunday at the SCG following the top-four clash between the Kangaroos and Sydney.

Entry is free to all supporters and Matthew 'Spider' Burton with host proceedings which will include interviews with Kangaroos Chairman Allen Aylett and several players.

All players from the Round 21 clash will be in attendance at the aftermatch which begins at the completion of the match in the Bradman Terrace section of the SCG. A cash bar will also be in operation.

So all players and the chairman will be there? Between Luffy's and the Cross we'll have a chance to see perhaps five Swans. We've been asked what could be done to improve aftermatch functions - more players turning up would be a start.

    Tons of lollies of ice-cream.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Generally speaking, Melbourne aftermatches are like this - it must have something to do with playing away.

AMs at the Noble used to have players from the Reserves wandering around selling raffle tickets - no more, it just seems like everything is being cut back.

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Free drumming demonstrations and a chance for the kiddies to see their cheersquad heroes and get some autographs.

Like how out of date and PASSE are you GIRLFRIEND! This lil critter has given the after-matches the flick a long time ago. Just a waste of time going. Expensive drinks, rubbish up on stage, and increasingly less people going.

Nicksey's panels at the Sydney Aussie Rules Club are mega funny. Yet you can ask serious football-related questions as well. So it caters for everyone. You even get people walking around with party pies and spring rolls. And there were little Pfizer footies on each table (I stole 3 and have them at work around my desk nestled next to my Sydney Swans beanie bear).

Last week it was actually better NOT having the drum. It is a ratty old ****box to be honest! And the drumstuick is more often than not an empty Diet Coke bottle too.

Maybe we need a Save-up-for-a-shiny-new-drum-for-the-Wandering-Minstral Fund. With nice big red and white panels. And one of those drumstucks with the soft thing at the end.
Come on Matt, pay up! I'll even give you a drumming lesson, if you have been good!
