    umpires for this weekend

Sydney Swans vs Kangaroos at S.C.G. 1:10 PM AEST
#4- Adam Davis, #11- Scott McLaren, #25- Shaun Ryan

McLaren but no Schmitt Head Goldspink so we can live with these (I hope).

We should appease the maggots with offerings of fresh minced meat.

Don't like McLaren - feel he favours Vic teams.
We will have to play really well to once again to beat the umpire and North Melbourne.
        Love those Swans

I don't yet have a deep hatred of Adam ("Goodes Nick") Davis or Shaun Ryan ("O'Keefe") so I am optimistic.

The Swans are used to being up against 25 players. We have been caned all year.

McLarens 'form' has been well down to late. In the recent games I've watch he's pulled free kicks from incidents based on what he assumed happened, not what he saw (a point another dear RWOer made recently).

Lets hope he lifts his game.

Some of the decisions of the aging pharmacist (he's 41) have been increasingly bizarre. Is he dipping into the dispensary or is the eyesight just failing? Of course I have the greatest respect etc etc

Or maybe just the chicken legs aren't quite as useful at helping him keep up with the play as they used to be.

                  I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

the only older maggot is Goldspink. Don't want to be ageist but is there a pattern here? Do we need some generational change? Perhaps a cane and labrador dog? Of course I have the greatest respect etc etc

Its not ageist. Its Melbourne umpires. The only time we get a decent deal is against interstate competition.

We used to be South-Melbourne! Doesn't that count for anything!?!
