Hale v Ball could be interesting

Is it just me as an old softie or were Hales reported comments in the Daily Telegraph yesterday concerning the tragic death of Wally Jackson somewhat lacking in compassion? I know comments are often edited outrageously by the dirty diggers media but perhaps Hale souldn't worry about nominating for the Nobel Peace prize this year. Describing a win in a footy match as "pretty special" during the death of an opposing club official, the tall humanitarian added this gem:

"We didn't know that the guy had died on the boundary line. It wasn't part of our plan".

Jason Ball may take this up with Hale this arvo.

That was a very ordinary comment.

      Even today the Hun writes:

"It was the relentless resolve of the Kangaroos that enabled them to retrieve a 40-point three-quarter time deficit against the Swans in Round 19 last year."

      not a word about Wally.

A good win today would be nice.
