    Umpiring today

Will I be howled down by saying it was OK today.

Seemed to let the game go a bit more. Paid some soft incidental on the shoulders, but others in one on one ground level contests seemed to be let go as they should.

Thought MOL was a bit stiff not to get one in the square for one in the moosh. Banana Firrito got the free for what I dont know.

For a moment, I thought the umpires were going to try and even up the game, when they awarded that free kick to North right in front of goal.
I still have no idea what it was for.
But mostly they were invisible, which is as much as we can hope for.

We must have got 4 of those from OOBOTFs though.

Umpiring wasn't a huge influence but there were still a few soft ones being dished out.

Did notice however Mike nodding in agreement to one of the umpiring decisions in North's favour late in the game, so they must not of been too bad then

Was suprisingly good still a few not paid, then very soft paid but at improvement on past weeks..even by McLaren (for the most part)

What was it actually for? And how do you know I wasn't nodding in agreement with something someone said around me?

I honestly don't know when it was - but I could well have been agreeing with the umps.

even thought the free kick count may have been close to even, the swans did not and hardly ever get as many in front of goal as their opposition. free kicks inside the forward 50 should count for 2!

I thought it was OK today. I remember only getting seriously pissed off with them once, with McLaren early but I dont even remember what it was about now.

Meh, I thought the umpiring wasn't a bother but there was one free awarded to Roos that I spotted out that was wrong.
