I was one of those sitting in the Port OUter Army seats!! They reminded me and the several other swans supporters at the time sitting there, that we were in their seats. Having said that though, they were extremely welcoming, good natured although disappointed with the loss.

Those Port supporters went up a notch in my view that day.

      Beaussie runs an AFL/NRL/S12 website?

Oh i'm gonna be occupied for weeks now

Its wrong in any case, as Adrian Anderson tonight confirmed on 3AW that the winner of the Eagles/Crows match will get the Saturday Night slot and the loser gets the Friday Night slot.
                Once was, now elsewhere

I had heard that earlier this week but couldn't find any confirmation on afl.com.au

It was on the email from the Swans office, It said "confirmed". But then when I read it again it says, "if the game happens to be on a Friday ....". Sorry, I should of read the whole thing first.

Who from here would/could go to Adelaide if the game was on a Friday night?

I'd consider a Saturday match but not Friday. Will be relying on 10 I think.

They better have coverage in Perth...it would be a 5pm WST (7pm CST) start most likely, correct?

If the game is at Subi it will be at 6.00 p.m. WAST (that's 8.00 p.m. AEST). If the game is played at AAMI it will be at the same time (in Adelaide 7.30 p.m.).
Game will actually begin 30 minutes later. You need extra time for some entertainment, maybe some fireworks and obligatory Australian anthem.
