    Tag team - Nicky D for Nicksy

    At the AFL Club AM last night, Nicky D was in fine form and could do a great job as MC if Nicksy doesn't do it next year. One exchange was after a question about Nick's goal from outside 50. Baz set up a lead and was screaming (well, in a gutteral way) for it and Nick ignored him. As Nick went for the kick, Baz apparently went to Noggy (?) and said "he better kick this then". Nick did - wonderful kick that looked way off line off the boot, did an S with different air currents (I was right behind) and went through.

    Nicksy asked Nick if he was scared of Baz. He replied "Na, I've done some boxing with him and he couldn't knock the foam off a cappucino." Someone in the crowd called out "Here's Barry now" and Nick jumped. Nicksy said "If it was him it would have been the fastest you've run all year!"

          Let me get this straight.

          He had a good game, showed some class, kicked 5 and was also pleasant at the After Match function?

                  When they were asked if they'd prefer to play the Crows or Eagles, Nick volunteered he'd prefer the Eagles as they serve Cornettos on the trans Nullarbor flights.

                              His antics with the hot pies had us laughing. Even managed to polish off most of the plate during the comments...

                                      I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
