St Kilda's Brendon Goddard has been charged with striking by the AFL's match review panel, but can avoid suspension with an early guilty plea.
The panel laid only two charges from the weekend's round, with Kangaroos forward Corey Jones facing a $900 fine for using abusive language towards an umpire.
Goddard was charged with a level one striking offence, against Fremantle's Steven Dodd, in the first quarter of Friday night's match at Subiaco.
If he were to contest the charge at the tribunal and be found guilty, he would face a one-match ban, but is expected to submit an early guilty plea and accept a reprimand.
