    Our average score in

    Rnd 1 -10 is 77 (with 1 score above 100)
    Rnd 11 -21 is 98 (with 7 scores above 100)
Disregarding The Crows game(47), the Average goes up to 103.

Seems a direct correlation between the Long Kicking and Scoring.

Discounting valid data, the resulting stats allow me to make a more dramatic point.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

          Not entirely true.

There are often valid reasons for disregarding outliers when doing statistical analysis, particularly if you are developing a predictive model.

Long kicks. Contested marks. That was the simple answer that I and a few others gave when people were saying 'well, how would you do it' earlier in the year.

The club has thankfully come to the same conclusion... and look where we are. The rubbish that was being put on the field in the first half of the season was not working and was not going to make us finalists. Now, finally, we are playing football.

Ah, get the ball in directly and quickly to the quality forward line... so simple!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

                Oh I was just joking!

If you take out the Essendon game (injured in the first couple of minutes) and the Carlton game (arguably needed a run in the magoos) then Nick Davis has averaged around 14 disposals and 1.5 goals per game which, whilst a small difference, is probably a better indication of his increased work rate this season versus the official 12.5/1.4.

                  I guessed that.

It was the one game that was totally out of place in the last 11 games, so I thought it was worth a look without it.

You wouldn't think it'd take 10 weeks to work it out, would you?
