    It's strange that this thread has come up now, I was just thinking of Lawson on the weekend for some reason.

    I love watching him play when I was a teenager....his pace made quite a few games very exciting. I was a fan.

      From memory, he was only 160 something centimetres tall and built like a toothpick. But he was exploively quick and very agile.

      Of all the injuries we've had to players over the years, I think his was the most tragic. He received compensation of around $1m from the AFL, which set a precedent

      I'd be interested to know where he is now.
      He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.
