A bit of a low call there Liz. He was 100% doing the team-focussed thing. And should be given 100% credit for doing so at a time when he could well have been excused for being selfish and blazing away himself.

He seems to be in rare form at the moment. He is NOT whinging and screaming at the umpires any more. And surprise surprise he is not having the free kick hassle he has had in years gone by. The Ad-laide game aside where his overhead marking was negated due to the dewy conditions, he has been very sure of himself.

He deserves our utmost respect for being 100% team-focussed yesterday. Not dismissive rebuttals.

PS:- Did anyone see Stephen Milne last night. How good was his performance. Still how bad were the Lions?

Spot on about Baz there... he deserves the upmost respect at the moment... the way he is going about it is inspiring... now that he's relatively good with the umpires I'll be getting on him for Brownlow.

Milne was awesome last night... couldn't have done it to a more deserving opposition. It is just so satisfying watching the Lions play in the last 3 weeks... I always love watching arrogant, dirty and bad sportsmanship players get completely burried into the turf.

There aren't too many excuses for the Lions as the Saints arguably had more key injuries... they showed that their bravado is false and they have no real heart when it counts.

I don't care that Baz has not won it, we are watching the emergence of a great team player. Give the thing to Gehrig, he deserves it because he has kicked more goals. So what. I know who I want on the team and it aint the "G Train"

Baz works harder than Gehrig and is a far more versatile foreward. Having said that, it would have been nice for Baz.
