They won't play two finals at the same time.

Word is that they go to Perth on Tuesday to practice landing on the concrete at Subiaco

I very much doubt they'll play two on Friday night. The norm for the first week of the finals is one each on Friday night, Saturday afternoon, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

The scheduling and the need for teams to have at least 6 days off between games means that the loser of the Swans /West Coast game will probably get to play their semi-final on Friday night too, though to achieve that they will have to schedule the corresponding EF on Saturday afternoon rather than Sunday.

Hopefully it will be irrelevant but an afterwork trek out to SA on a Friday night could be on the cards.

I think it is vital to win this weekend for our chances of winning the Flag. Having the week off I think will be invaluable for the team as it is very hard for them to remain "up" through to the end of September with their exhaustive running and tackling game.

Having said that though, it is awesome that we are playing on Friday night and heading to west on Tuesday, the Friday scheduling will help us get that long trip west out of the road and done with in the earliest stage of the Finals.

It should be an awesome contest... after looking at the matchups we'll have, it is pleasing to see that the Swans have the ability to match them everywhere.

          Bring it on E-girls! hahaha

As I said at the SARC today, they use way way way too much baby oil. At first I thought it was just just Glen Jakovich. Now I know it is most of them.
Buddy, they hang out at Subiaco apparently, and the girls are all over them...the girls do it just to say they did it with such and such...

            Can't get out of Subiaco...

Sydney have a golden opportunity to win...but I do doubt they can after I saw them in Perth a few months back.

Disregard that game. Completely different teams - Swans were at the lowest point of their form slump back then, and West Coast were red hot. I think the Eagles have peaked too early - this isn't going to make beating them over there any easier, but we stand a pretty good chance.
