Aftermatch function in Melbourne

Generally it is a great venue, no queues for drinks, easy access, as long as not too many want to get in.

But the one complaint I will have is that you just can't hear the players when interviewed. The acoustics of the place make whatever they are saying just garbled mish mash.

Given that the room/space has such a high ceiling I suspect that most of the clarity goes way above everybodys head, and if we were to all stand on the 3rd level we would hear it all perfectly.

Apart from that well done to the club for caring for Melb Supporters by having the aftermatch at the MCG, it helps that we have an easy run out of the car park afterward, as long as you can find your car.

And good for them to have the eagles-crows match on so that we could watch it,better than catching train straight home then finding out final scores later on.

And very good of the players to have the autograph signing table for all the ladies( and the kids) to get autographs

Barry Hall,MOL,Jolly,ROK,and Willo all got up on stage and had a chat,basically just saying the differences between the team today and the one 2003,and who they may be playing next week,some of the players,and officials were just standing there watching the eagles-crows game with great interest.We had a chat to NOG and Ball while watching the game,it was very pleasing that the whole team hung around for a change,except Roos who apparantly had to go somewhere in a hurry,and Grubby(the MC) even said he looked a little distressed down in the rooms after the game.
