Thats a very disapointing story to hear, passion is the greatest thing about football, for some people it's all they have in life and the only thing they are passionate about. This brings back to mind the story someone else told on here about someone watching the rugby in a corporate box.
Can't wait for our home final, it will be only the 2nd game i will see all year, and i can't wait to make a d*ck of myself, and show my passion.

      GO SWANS!

        Yep very disappointing.

I'm not sure if I'm more disappointed that they were showing the thugby in an Ausie Rules club or that you were told to be quiet.

There is this group of old fogies who sit at the bar. They incist on watching the rugby there all the time. The GREAT Beaussie has a plan, get there early and take their seats. Thenj turn the TV to the AFL and keep it on it.

Buuuuuuut, would anyone mind too much if a few of us watched the Sydney FC match somewhere in the club before our game starts. I'd gladly go downstairs to the plasma screen out of harm's way if it offends.

Give it time. The culture in that place will slowly change.

Or just follow Sydney FC and enjoy some real passion!!

I think we have some ultra conservative supporters who
barrack tennis fashion. I have been spoken to by a lady
who objected to my "CARN THE BLOODS" as it is unsportsman like.

Too true Tez - We join the girls with the Baz Hallelujah Chorus at Telstra and an old guy told us that our disrespect to Baz was disgusting. Of course more people joined in and we just sung it louder. Peter H waits for us to finsih before he starts the chant.
