If I've got this right, the games next week are:

Crows v Saints
Eagles v Swans
Roos v Port
Cats v Dees

I think we have a good chance of winning in Perth (wouldn't be going over otherwise). But even if we didn't, we'd have a home final against the winner of the Cats and Dees.

If we win that, we'd play the winner of the Crows/Saints game. That's for a GF spot.

If we win next week, we have the week off then play the winner of the game between the loser of the Crows/Saints game and the winner of the Roos/Port game. Win that we're in the GF, too.

All are do-able.

Apparently the timetable is being announced by the AFL at 6.30 tonight. But the two night games are AAMI on Sat and Subi on Fri.

I think the most dangerous game by far is St Kilda at the G. Whether it be PF or GF. They have the talent but only really click when they are at home.

Beat the Weagles by 15

Beat the Saints by 10

Beat Adelaide by 1 point with a Baz Goal after the siren and Kirk wins the Norm Smith.

Ah we can only hope

Pressure is on the Eagles.

They have crumbled in recent weeks and although there is not a lot of difference between finishing 1st and 2nd they will see it as a major disapointment.

Them losing to the Crows at Subi means they won't feel as invincible when we play them.

We are the last side they would want to face now.

Don't have a good record there in recent times but finals are a different ball game.

Hopefully they havent learnt too much from when we beat them earlier in the year.
Our last two finals losses against St Kilda and Brisbane have both come after we defeated those teams the last time we played them.

I am confident of doing well and the week off should be a good antidote against the curse.

I don't think losing at home will worry them too much given it was Adelaide. Only one side from the east coast has defeated them at Subi in the past 4 seasons and that was Melbourne in 2002.

The bigger worry for them might be tiredness, but I think we might see a different Eagles outfit this week relative to what has been the case in recent weeks.

You would certainly expect a big lift from the Eagles this week.

Must survive the first quarter and a half and if we stick with them, our fresher legs and better form should help us come over the top.

The first 30 minutes on Friday night are our most important since the GF in 1996.
