There is a 2 hours time difference between Perth and Sydney.
No excuse for 10 not to show it live.
"As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk
The finals are as follows. Pity the Cats and Dees weren't on the Sunday. It takes a long time to recover from the Perth trip.
Friday night - WC vs Sydney @ Subiaco 6:30 Local
Saturday arvo - Geelong v Melbourne @ MCG 2:30 Local
Saturday night - Adelaide vs St.Kilda @ AAMI 7 Local
Sunday arvo - Kangaroos vs Port @ Telstra Dome 2:30 Local
Thanks. Time to plan next Friday night. I am seriously excited about this game, which is one of the most important in the clubs history. Win this and we will be premiership favourites.
Occupational hazards:
I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.
So, come 5th and you get a seven day break. Come 2nd and you only get a six day break. (But I guess they had to take into account that the Roos opponent Port would have 7 days).
It works in our favour - six days is a minimum to recover between games it seems. But we had an easier run than the Eagles yesterday. Balances the travel factor perhaps?

Swans have had a couple more hours to recover than West Coast.

I reckon overall the AFL have got it right as far as the finals scheduling goes - for teams 1-4 they've given 1 an extra day recovery over 2 (and their opponents just have to fit in) and done the same for 5 and 6.
And moving on from there, the teams facing off in week 2 have more similar rest periods and so on.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
