Sanecow's big call for the year.

If I'm wrong, then I will happily wear it, but: If we don't win on the weekend against West Coast, we won't win (or perhaps even make) the grand final. I see it as that important a game. Must win.

Nah, lose this one and we only have to beat the winner of the Cats-Dees game and we're probably off to AAMI as many here expected last week.

With the top 4 so even this year and the most dominate team in the last 100 years out of the way, we are about to play our most important 30 minutes of football since the GF in 1996.

If we can open up well and stick with the Wet Toast in the first quarter we will be in the box seat to come over the top of them.

We can still win it if we lose this week, but it will take a super human effort to do it.

A home PF is definitely the better path to the GF than a PF in Adelaide or against St Kilda at the MCG.

If we win in Perth then I think the players will believe they can win the flag (if they don't already).

And then we only have to win the GF and the 72 year old Premiership drought has ended. Easy peasy.

Anything is possible in finals. Just ask Crows supporters about 1998.

I think we're in with a chance against the Wet Toast. Since we beat them, their form has not been great. Working against us is a trip to Perth after a six-day break, which I believe is equivalent to a five-day break before a home game. We won't start as favourites in Perth due to the travel, but the bookies will be mindful of 2003 and won't have us as 7-1 underdogs either.

At least we have a short injury list. It's a shame the Crows also have a short injury list.

No. Friday night game means I am home with the boy and unable to attend. Not a real fan Hopefully a sell out crowd so it's on the box. I'm not sure my heart would hold up.

Does it qualify as child abuse to bring him to the pub to catch up with those of us that come across for the game? It's at the Irish Club Townshend Road Subiaco - doesn't that make it a cultural outing?

Sorry, it would qualify as "The wife has taken the car to work and it's a long way to Subi". Besides, I know you guys just want to strip me naked and make me dance.

Sounding more cultural by the minute. In perth, you might be able to get a grant from the Department of the Arts for that.
