    Qualifying Final Friday Night Out

    Hey Folks,

For those of us not making our way over to Perth to see the Game in person, does anyone know of any pubs / clubs or gatherings that have been organised in Sydney where Swans fans can get together and cheer on the red and white with a good and supportive crowd in front of a big screen and some great atmosphere?

I know the Aussie Rules Social club in Kings Cross Will be screening the game on the big screen on Friday but have not heard of anywhere else.....everyone else seems to be focused on the Broncos Vs Eels match which also screens on Friday night at the same time but on a different channel?

    Any info would be great!

    Cheers

I've been to the Aussie Rules Club in Kings Cross a couple of times and liked the atmosphere. Judging by the crowd at the last aftermatch after the Kangaroos game, it would probably be a good idea to get there early to get a table.

At least with the match starting at 8:30pm our time it gives people more time to get together and watch the game after work.

Hopefully there won't be a repeat of what JF said happened on Saturday - it's still the Swans official club, and it would be very disappointing to lose it as a place to go and support our team when they're not playing in Sydney, all because of a couple of mean-spirited security guards. As long as the barracking's made in fun and good humour (which it sounds like it was) I can't see what the fuss was about.

Hey, let's get one thing straight everyone. The staff and facilities were fine during our match. But it was just the attitude of them during the Power-Freo that I find difficult to fathom.

I'm sure they will be fine on Friday night. When there is a big crowd in the upstairs auditorium, they never seem to mind if we made a bit of noise. There is actually a decent amount of singing as well.

Several of us want to watch Sydney FC play at 630pm. We might watch it around the corner. Then we can go into the SARC in time for our big game.
