    Baz tipped for Brownlow

Some listener on WLF who claims to have accurately picked Brownlow placings over the past few years (Clinton the host knew of his prowess) has submitted his final predictions in which Mr B Hall (Sydney) ties with Mr B Harvey (Kangaroos) for this year's honour. Good luck to the lucky punters who waged serious $$ on our Baz. Let's hope the WLF tipster is right again.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

He did well last year - I like Kirky again this year.

Yea i like hall's chances. Bulldogs haven't won enough games for West to win and there are too many at WC to take votes away from Cousins.

I would love to see someone other then Ben Cousins win it.

Perth would absolutely murder the umpires.

The chosen son has been ripped off the cries will be.

Anyhow, Barry has a great chance of winning the brownlow.

Ditto. Kirky it is (or I hope it will be!).

Damn! Bazz is $7...he has come in massively after the last round. I would back Bazz but I am not sure if he is the vote catching type - I mean, he has no blonde flowing locks for starters! This definitely has been his best year though and maybe the umpires have finally realised what an awesome player he is! I hope he gets two medals this year though - that would be even more awesome!
            Go you mighty BLOODBOYS!

I don't think Hall will poll quite well enough to win. Will do pretty well though - perhaps around 15-18.

Can't see him getting a Brownlow if he can't get a free kick.

                    Payback?

And I would have thought a gleaming chrome dome is as noticeable as flowing blonde locks!

I reckon not even the umpires can miss his absolute dominance each game. Or the fact that he has not been suspended for three years straight now.

i was looking at the top 5 finish odds for the chas and i like the looks of baz at $2.35

i'm a chance to put a bradman on it but i'll more than likely chicken out, kirky is at $3.00 as well

Ditto, so perhaps Brett Kirk will add to the Charles count (came close last year) although I'd prefer it if he won a Norm.

Sorry but if the maggots won't give him a kick they definitely won't give him a Brownlow. He'll poll well (there are prob 4 or 5 games when even Blind Freddy would see he was BOG) but not enuff to threaten the spunky midfield brigade.

Yeah, Bazza got up there, but St Kilda overtook the Swans in odds for the flag. It's amazing what one game can do. Suddendly the Saints are back in favour to save "Victorian pride" and win the premiership from the dreadfull interstaters. Really...

I disagree - just coz they won't give him frees doesn't mean they don't see how he dominates the forward half which is the key to him collecting votes. The other fowards just patrol their 50 - Bazza dominates half the field - and more so this year than in previous years given that all our alternative forwards can just move in behind him when he roams.

Whether he can win I don't know, but am confident he will be our top vote getter.
