But that is where you are broken and wrong. Opinions of LRT's game should be based on how he plays, not membership of the lovers or haters club. I think his game has improved fantastically but if he forgets how to take a mark or starts that following-the-ball-around-the-ground-in-a-daze nonsense I am not going to conveniently ignore it.

Or gets outmarked by someone the size of Shane Woewoedin.

The LRT experiment is unfinished - gloating permissible from October 1 and not before.

Damn, I was hoping to have a drink or two on September 24 to discuss his winning ways.

          Harsh.

I think this is where you are wrong, perhaps even broken.

Its no coincidence that LRTs best games in the later half of the year is when he has played on younger players like himself.
And his worst games were when he played on the starts of the game like Reiwoldt.
Anyone suprised by that ? Of course not. This is LRT's first year at CHB. First year he's had maximum game time. And I'm not going into his lack of pre-AFL experience at all.

In summary, at this stage of his development, he will beat lesser lights, but be beaten by stars. Totally expected. Name a CHB of his experience that isnt.

In the next few months, he more likely to meet stars than hacks.

It is a disservice to LRT to put his improvement down to the quality of his opposition.

Because at some stage he's gonna get given another bath ~ all part of the learning process unfortunately.

I don't condone simultaneous drinking and gloating - it can lead to hiccups & other unfortunate ailments.

In that case, I hope things go the way I wish so I'm hiccuping till R1, 2006.

Apparently Jo Bailey is besotted in LRT.

Perhaps your irritation is the pangs of guilt for not supporting LRT earlier in the year*.

FWIW, the "broken records" are those that play the same tune even after the underlying landscape has changed. And for that reason I think broken records is a label best fastened to those belittling LRTs contribution to his own good form of late.

                          * Note: I'm only guessing.

                                Hardly.

I am simply bored of reading the same statements over and over again. And they mostly come from you. So could you please find something new to talk about.

Maybe you can become a champion of the Tim Schmidt cause. That would be new.
