    Omens

    Finals are upon us, so surely it's time to start looking out for omens...

    My first for the week:

    I always consider it to be a good omen when I randomly and completely unexpectantly bump into players. Today, while meeting my younger brother for a cup of coffee at Gloria Jeans, I saw Jude Bolton also having a cuppa there.

    (Unfortunately, I mentioned this fact to my brother, who proceeded to walk over to the queue, right past Jude's table, whistling "Cheer Cheer".)

    Anyone else got any???

      Yep! My omen is that my tipping controls the Eagles destiny.

      So far this year I have 100% success rate tipping the the Eagles at home(10 wins, 1 loss) so all I have to do is tip against them and their fate is sealed!

              As for good omens,I hope to see on Friday the some of the best good luck charms around, a fresh batch of Swannies biscuits

                  I've got a good one for you all:

                  In 1996 my brother was planning his wedding....much to our disgust, they set it for grand final day You all know how that went....the closer it got to the wedding, the worse the Swans went, ending in a Swans loss shortly after the ceremony ended. Swans haven't made a GF since.

                  My brother separated from evil SIL in December. The evil SIL curse has been lifted.

                  She never was a Swans supporter.

                          I saw Kelvin Templeton at a restaurant last Friday night and couldnt help but say something to him, although he may have thought I was referring to the Bulldogs chances on the weekend, depending on where his allegiance now lies.

                              I've got Friday off and will spend the morning baking (and probably Thursday night as well). It's all very exciting.
