One from News :
Swans options to be cut
"We've talked about it a lot and we know how they play," West Coast forward Quinten Lynch said.
"We need to play it smart and stretch them and keep them spread out so they can't have the effectiveness of working together so much . . . they love to handball, chip kicking and switching, so we have to try to make them kick down the line long instead of running it out.
+ a response from Kennelly.
If their forwards are going to be more preoccupied in shutting down our run from the rear as opposed to actually scoring, expect a pretty low scoring contest.
Some of close scrutiny of Bazz that will only increase over the coming weeks :
Cold shower gives Hall ko punch
"I don't want to underrate any players but the players I had most trouble with were the underrated players. I would play against a (Matthew) Scarlett or (Dustin) Fletcher and I would know what I was going to get, and then with Brad Miller, he is not known as a backman, but he came in there and lifted his game and played well on me and I didn't even give a yelp."
And this is the one I like the most :
Eagles look to relight fire
The Eagles have stumbled in the latter part of the season, dropping four of their past six games, and West Coast utility Andrew Embley said the team had identified a drop in intensity since they had sewn up a top-two berth.
"I think there is no doubt we have been thinking about this finals campaign for a long time now," Embley said.
"We had a chat about it with the leadership group the other day. Coming up against sides like the Western Bulldogs and Geelong, regardless of how we played, we knew that we were going to finish one or two, where they needed to win to make the finals.
"They were more desperate than us.
"In a way, we've been waiting for this opportunity, waiting for this first final, and now it's here. "
SO, If they think they can switch on and switch off whenever they feel like it, well we'll see tonight. These blokes are ripe for the picking.
