    6 Days Break!!!

I don't like to winge normally but something has been playing on my mind all week, and whether we had won or lost I believe my attitude would not have changed. The question is How the Hell did the Swans only get 6 Days break after travelling to Melbourne and be expected to travel to Perth in this time frame?

As I said I don't like tyo winge but...Kangaroos coach winged about possible 6 day break when all he had to do was remain in Melbourne and sure he got his wish of 7 days.

Again call me a winger if you like but everyhting was stacked in the Eagles favour. I'd love to meet them again withna decent break!!!

The Eagles also had a 6 day break, and it was only fair to Adelaide that they go the 7 day break for finishing top.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Wait a second Eagles had six days, but THEIR LAST GAME WAS IN PERTH!!! We had to travel to Melbourne in the last round and then expected to travel to Perth 6 days later, hardly comparable - Just ask Laidley! We had the toughest assignment in the first round no question and still nearly won. Just disappointing that's all.

But why should any of the top 4 sides have to cop a 6 day break. They earned the right to get the favours in finals not the sides that finish in the bottom half of the 8.

        Particularly going to the West.

Does anyone really think that the 6 day break is the reason we lost? I don't.

I do, however, hope that the AFL looks after us this week by not scheduling next week's game on Friday night. Hopefully it will be sometime on Saturday, in recognition of the fact that we did finish 3rd, have to travel back from the west and had a 6 day break this week.

But you have 3 of the 4 teams in the bottom half of the 8 playing on Sunday in Rd 22, meaning a 5 day break if they play on Friday. Not going to happen.

If the other finals go according to the table rankings, then surely the AFL would put the St Kilda v Kangaroos game on a Friday night.

One BIG PROBLEM!! Kangas and Port are playing on Sunday meaning only a 5 day break before Friday. Looks like next Friday night!

Perhaps there'll be a Saturday afternoon game then?

I would hope Saturday day and night. Night footy with dew etc makes the game that bit scrappier, and if they play games on Saturdays only from here in, it keeps everyone on an equal footing as far as breaks between games up till the end of the season.

I meant a Saturday afternoon game in Melbourne or possibly Adelaide. (Showdown Final maybe?)

Problem is though that the Roos or Port won't be playing on Friday because they play on Sunday so it will be the Swans and either the Dees or Cats on Friday. Let's hope it's a tough game tomorrow.

Agree that they won't play the other SF on Friday night. Hopefully they'll both be on Saturday - one in the afternoon and one in the evening.
