We cant ask our team or any team to be perfect. Given the salary cap, etc..., it is impossible to build a perfect team. However, we are absolutely entitled to ask for competent and neutral umpires. They are paid to be so.

Incompetent players are dropped, delisted, and sacked. I cant see why that rule does not apply to the umpires. How much more could one tolerate completely absurd umpiring which basically destroy the club's efforts for the whole season?

Make no mistake, if we have won that game, we would be a shoe-in for a place in the grand final and with a full dose of confidence and fitness going to the big one.

The criticality of the errors is enormous and obvious and the umpires must be accountable for that. If umpires could blatantly influence games like that, I cant see how the AFL could be seen as a credible competition at all.

The back line wasn't the problem.

We didn't even get it into our forward line till 12mins into the 1st 1/4 and we were only 1 goal down at 1/4 time.

3 goals from frees vs 0 was the problem.

The problem was also some missed opportunities and mistakes such that the umpiring errors at the end made the difference.

All teams make mistakes, however quite often the winning side makes less and capitalises on mistakes of opponents. That should have been us even given the bad umpiring.

LRT on Gardiner was a coaching clusterfu<k but he did his best despite having to play out of his regular position on a much bigger and more experienced opponent.

                Howdy Fellas,

                Great game last night!!!

You guys struggled going forward and when you did you couldnt take a chest mark..

Both teams forwards lines were shocking last night...

Umpires...Yes i know Goodes was tripped in the dying minutes inside your 50 and should have been a free...but the umpiring was better then what it has been @ subi Oval this year but a few Dodgy decision going both ways last night.

                Good Luck next week fellas!!!
