I didn't think Melbourne would've lost, esppecially by 55 points.
yeah that's what you call finals pressure. only one team on the day could turn it up. Geelong being the one with 3 finals experience from '04.
    Onwards to Victory!

This will be a tough game and i expect us to come out on top next week.

We have to remember that from the rd 15 game, the Cats were in an injury crisis and had no Ling, King and a few other midfielders, so this game will certainly be a bit more different.

Geelong looked good today - but it's very easy to do so when you don't have an opponent.

I'm still pretty confident that our boys are capable of taking care of them next week.

Did anybody spot Paul Roos at the MCG today?

Melbourne were so bad, I dont think you could make any comment about Geelongs form from that game.

We'll kick 'em back to sleepy hollow.

I saw it on before the game, just an accident I would say, a 6ft guy getting a kick in the head while he's standing up!! That's just unlucky!

It was accidental but reckless never the less. Never seen anything like it before someone kicking a 6'5" guy full in the face while he's standing.

I'd give him a couple of weeks because it was so reckless and dangerous similar to the way they treat roundarm spoiling attempts that knock players out. ie Jason Cloke on Edwards in 2002 prelim.
