This is why we worked so hard for the double chance.

While the loss is a tough pill to swallow we aren't yet eliminated and have to stop the self-pity and look toward winning the next three weeks.

I don't know about anyone else but with the Crows losing, I think looking at the bigger picture that there may be a silver lining in losing to the Eagles.

Assuming we beat Geelong I feel better about playing St Kilda in Melbourne than Adelaide in Sydney. Also assumes Adelaide defeats the winner of Port-North.

Adelaide have been somewhat of a bogey side and now we avoid playing them.

It's funny, because I fear St Kilda more than I do the Crows. With their week off now, they have a chance to get over the odd niggle, and give guys like Hudghton and Koschitzke the extra week to get back to fitness to play in the PF.

IMHO, the Saints would be favourites for the flag after last night.

With full house of Melbournians supporting a Victorian team? Think agan. You speak more like a Sydneysider not a Melbournian living here. It will be a huge task for anybody to win against such crowd at the G. Only few did it (like Brisbane last year), but I would imagine that St Kilda would draw bigger and more pationate crowd than Geelong could last year. IMO, the Saints are much more popular here than the Cats.

I think you need to go to Adelaide or Perth and listen to the crowds there. They are 100 times more hostile than Melbourne.

Agree that the Saints will have more support than Geelong however going to Melbourne will mean we have more support as well.

I know they are more feral crowd, but MCG is bigger and the crowd effect matches its size. The only good thing is that St Kilda is more comfortable playing at Telstra Dome than at MCG, and that is why Sydney Swans still have some chance to upset them there.
