    willo

How quick you are to judge.
He has had a broken collarbone, did his calf when he was due to come back, and in case you didn't notice his calf was heavily strapped for Friday night.
It was only posted a couple of weeks ago that he was back to his old self.
There were other players also down on form Friday night, maybe you expectations of Williams are too great.
If there wasn't a spot for him in the top 22 he wouldn't be playing.

willo is the key to success in the next 3 weeks. if he is fit and firing our midfield gets that spark and flash of quality it lacks at times. just hope he'll be right for this week

Just remembered he was mentioned as trade bait along with the classless nut case who doesn't have a go.

I thought Willo did alright on Fri, the game turned slightly when he came off. (at the same time as NOG and B1)

I love Willo, my favourite player. He injects something into the midfield and has been the best attacking option out of the midfield for a long time. He has not, IMHO, been back to his best since his return, not by a long shot. Solid, yes. We'll know when he's back when he blows a game apart, I cannot wait to see it again.

I hope he recovers this week and injects the will to win into all the team. He has a lot to offer all the guys when he is one field.
Williams is my daughter's sponsored player as a redback member - he is really 100%effort team member.

Willo still just about our best midfielder (which says a lot about him and our midfield).

He's probably my favourite in the team (actually most of my favourites are ex-Collingwood...)

Man, I love Willo. I still think he's fit enough to stay in the team.

No better sight then Willo in full flight ramming one through from outside 50. Hes my favourite as well, along with Magic they are players that can just have you shaking your head in amazement at what they can do.

Good to read all the positives on Williams. He is a real club man and team player. Helped the other mid fielders when he did his shoulder.
Does anybody know extent of his injury this time.?

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
