Look like it's Fri night at the SCG

So that costs the AFL about $2 mil, we get about 25,000 less fans, Telstra will be 1/2 full (if they're lucky), everyone has to battle Sydney peak hour to get there in time and I cant go!

The only good thing is that Baz was keen to have the game at the SCG, so if he lifts because of it - so be it.

The atmosphere will be electric though you would think.

I can't go either. So I'm hoping that the AFL will have a last minute change of mind and revert to what they were saying yesterday - game at Telstra regardless, meaning it would be on Saturday.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

Well Tigers are definitely playing on the Friday now since they just lost their match.

So now it's trying to get the damn ticket for the SCG - the parking will be horrendeous on that night.

I just looked at the score in the other match - I bet the AFL are rubbing their hands in glee at the local derby next weekend.

As I said in a General AFL post, I bet Port are happy as well cause it's the only time they fill the ground. I just cant understand how they have such a crap crowds.

I am definitely sick and tired of the AFL rolling over for the NRL. It happens too often!!

Actually Telstra isn't available on Friday..

But the Tigers will now host confident fifth-placed North Queensland in a qualifying final on Friday night after their seven tries to four loss against a gutsy Panthers side which arrived at Telstra Stadium knowing it could not make the playoffs.

There must be some mistake. If you guys check the AFL web site you will notice that the Swans game is scheduled for Saturday and Crows game for Friday. Very strange indeed:

                SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 10
Loser Qualifying Final 2 vs Winner Elimination Final 2 at Venue and time not yet confirmed 7:30 PM AEST

If it is Wests Tigers versus North Queensland the last time the 2 teams faced each other in Sydney was on 14/09/2005 in front of 20527 people. They need Telstra's capacity source
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

NRL is claiming Telstra as theirs...

I am getting so annoyed. Now is the time to lock me in a dark room by myself so I can scream every swear word in every language!

First, Tigers are meant to be playing at TS Friday night. Now, the only NRL being played that night is at Paramatta Stadium. Somebody said that it's at Olympic Park - when how can that be if Tigers are playing there?

I am going to get so angry. I can't handle this stress. Someone please pass me my pills.

Surely the AFL should've announced it by now - this weekend of finals is finished.

Parramatta are playing on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers are definitely playing at Telstra Stadium on Friday night.

Yep, its on the Swannies web-site too. I guess that measn that we'll only be able to buy one ticket per member (compared with up to four when games have been at Homebush). Better get organised. Sell out by Tuesday lunchtime ?
