Easy, the AFL has a commitment to C10 to have two Friday night finals for the first two weeks of the finals series. With the PF weekend a Saturday/Saturday night combo.

There is no way the AFL is going to schedule Port for Friday night after playing today and coming off a 5 day break so that means we have to play on Friday night and Geelong get a 6 day break which is the minimum they will allow.
