Due to work constraints and the ticketk phone line being permantly engaged, finally got to the Hills Centre in Castle Hill at 4:45pm to get tickets. Happily got Bay 7, Row B but shocked to see concourse tkts sold for $70 each. Is that a mistake or have others found the same?

What seats did you get - could be in my regular seat!
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

The AFL wishes to advise the ticket update at 5pm, Monday September 5, for both of this weekend's finals matches is as follows:

Had meetings from 9.30 this morning - tried the phone from 9.00am till 9.30 no luck - had a mate trying the phone as well. Luckily for me he decided to leg it to a ticket outlet but we only ended up with D.Messenger stand tix.
Also got the 'Prime' family tix for $112 (adults normally $55). The family is 2 adults and 2 kids but all the tix seem the same (the printed price is $28 each). And they don't say which one is the kids or adults. One vege patch at a time

I, too, queued up at RWC, and I was fourth in line at 6:15am. Apart from being frozen and unable to feel my toes by the time 9am rocked around, I had met some similarly excited fans.
Now, as for those sleeping overnight, I cannot remember his name, but the lovely old man who was first there actually rocked up at 5am! Hardcore! I am certainly not a morning person, but it was hard to deny the infectious excitement in the air. Scored my tickets at about 9:20am. When I walked out the line was out the doors -- a good 60 or so people still waiting...
In the three hours whilst waiting, I met Gwen and Peter who have been Swans members since 1986 with eight other mates/respective partners, plus a girl who used to go to my school... good times, good times. Everyone was lovely, hardcore and happy in the sub zero temperatures (well, it felt cold!), and people managed to get along just fine. I quite enjoyed it, actually!
Nonetheless, I was super excited: Bay 28 (our home!), Row A! Score! Eirinn and I love our bay and it was great to be able to sit there for the finals.
See you all there!Last edited by Tuesday; 6 September 2005, 12:39 AM.And you can't find nothing at all,

You'll see that large amount of the concourse is classified as "premium".
You might also note they are selling the MA Noble and Ladies Stand concourse areas. Never seen this before - the SCG must have yielded to the AFL demand to make more seats available for sale.Comment

You get some interesting rumours in ticket queues. Another one doing its way down the line was that the Brewongle Stand had been sold to corporates and was already sold out before the members booking period started.
If anyone got tix in rows G-N this rumour can be debunked - those are the rows in front of the walkway. Ditto for the Churchill stand.Comment
