No, the big selling day is today with all tickets for both competing club members going on sale, I would say it would be sold out by now. Yesterday, they were only selling tkts for SNAFL members or something.

The SCG prices are consistent with what the AFL were going to charge for Semi Final in Melbourne this weekend.

I went last week at the "G" in a premium seat (a corporate freebie) which had a ticketed price of $59.00.

Got to love these rumours, I have worked for Ticketmaster7 in the past and I can tell you that the software these companies use releases tickets for each sections in batches. Which means that you can go at 9.00am and ask for one section to be told not on sale and return 2 hours later and they are selling them.

The reason is that you end up with gaps all over the place where only one or two people can sit, which can leave events chronically underbooked as you have 3,000 single seats not being used.

Once batches of seats in each catergory reach a pre determined level, futher batches are then released by the seller to fill.

I sit in the MA Noble during the home and away season and when we bought our tickets yesterday, we were told the MA Noble wasnt available. Something changed overnight but a pity it wasnt sooner. I like being in the MA Noble but between me and my mates, we'll get the top deck of the Messenger Stand going.

The top of the Messenger rocks, I used to love sitting there, but it was unticketed then so you had to get there early to get a good seat... eventually my gf cracked and we got reserved seats....

Good point Y fronts. I was a Messenger stand regular in ?97 too, just about the best seat in the house on a dry night. The change in seating arrangements in 1998 killed the walk up crowd because from then on walkups could only get crap seats or be fleeced for a reserved seat. I?ve never gone back to the Messenger since that final when we got drowned and flogged by the Crows. I declared that stand unlucky and off limits for good after that.

Cruiser, I think they are only selling seats for the lower deck of the MA Noble. It appears that the upper deck (our home during the season) is reserved for SCG Members. I know it has been reserved for them in the past. I just hope that the SCG members turn up and fill it otherwise it'll look bad on the teve and we'll be disappointed as we'd have loved to have had seats there.
Wardy and the crew will be in Bay 17 on the concourse. I asked for bay 16 but they printed tickets for 17, what the heck.

Nope. Churchill Stand, Bay 1 Row G. (shorter beer queues!) Thought the crowd over there needed some revving up. Seems that the Noble Stand people are scattered around like refugees.

I have member reserve membership, but I have gone into GA and sat at the top of the messenger this year so I could sit with my girlfriend and other friends.

I bought 4 tickets for the upper messenger (row KK) on membership presale, and only I was a member, and noone asked for any memberships at elizibeth st Ticketek when I collected. Same in Perth last week, I haev yet to be asked ofr a mambership..

Now I have been a member for over 10 years and I sit up in the Churchill Top Deck for home and away games, and I am assuming most O'reilly members are long term supporters as well.

Whilst I am happy to cop seats in the Brewongle top deck, I am mighty annoyed that away supporters got dibbs on two of the most favourable places in the ground to watch footy at.

There is no way that this would happen in Perth or Adelaide, would it?

I believe any anger should be directed at the SCG Trust, but I think the club needs to address this as well.

Hope you all got seats for Friday.
I get the impression that the club either didnt expect to play here this week or dont think about the members
