Not as crazy as the finals record between Hawthorn and Richmond. Despite playing in many finals series at the same time (think 1970's), these two sides have never met in a final. A different result in any of about a dozen finals would have had them metting in a final.

South's 109-point shellacking gave them second spot, the double chance, and continued the winning streak that culminated in the 1933 premiership.
