    Warfe vs O'Keefe

What the hell is Warfe doing in the side instead of O'Keefe.

No wonder our youngsters want to return back home because they can't get a game. Ryan O'Keefe told me 2 weeks ago that he easily beats Warfe at pyshical contests at training and is fitter and stronger than him.

Look to the future Roo's...........Warfe isnt even good enough for the SFL.

    Thoughts ?
Will this be the year !!!!

    Lay off Rowan!!!!!!!

One thing: Rowan and Ryan are different sort of players, Ryan is more an attacking player and doesn't have rowan's height. Rowan on the other hand is a defensive player.
That is what Rowan is doing in the side!! We still need experienced tall players in the side.
Ryan is a great young player that will get opportunities but not at the expense of Rowan.
Ryan has had less injuries than Warfey - so you'd expect Pebbles to be fitter and stronger than Rowan in some things.
You have to remember that Pebbles is still young and gaining experience and so one way is to play him in the ACT comp. i think that the way Ryan played in the game on anzac Day he should be in the side but more at the expence of Frosty.
The best way for Rowan to get his confidence and match fitness back is to play him in seniors, he needs to get these back against top opponents rather than reserve players.
Having said all this Lay Off Rowan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Go North Shore Bombers!!!!

One question Tractor!!! Is that your opinion of Rowan???? There is no way in the world that Ryan would ever make such comments about one of his best mates.
      Go North Shore Bombers!!!!

Heres a another difference between the 2.

1 will be here next year, the other won't

Have a guess at which is which and trust Rowan isn't the one staying
          Once was, now elsewhere

Ryan and Rowan are not finding for a same spot. In this context, any remark made by one toward another is light-hearted and should be considered so.

once we get a chb and a consistent fb, saddington/bolton will replace warfe as the running defender... that can mean that we will see better delivery of the ball down the ground

I thought that these two players were struck from different moulds. Warfe is a back-man and nothing else. ROK is usually a running attack player.

Even though Warfe cops flak atm, it really is a case of "Who do you replace him with?".

ROK, on the other hand, is an attacking midfielder who needs to show something extra special to retain that type of spot (given the players we already have in the side atm). Never fear. He'll get his chance (although, I do miss his tuffness at the ball).

I think he'll make an excellent replacement for Cressa-but everyone needs to see where he's at in terms of the senior side before that kind of decision is made. Personally-I've always loved his work, except for the times when he's been too tuff and inadvertantly caused frees against, or been reported (usually at VFL level?).

I hope he has the patience to stick with it and doesn't end up at Geelong or Carlton (or anywhere else that he can be traded to).
