    2005 B&F - get your money on...

    ...the Captain.

Roos has pretty much just said so on WLF, claiming that Kirk has had an even better year this year than last. Given that he was fairly narrowly pipped by Big Baz last season and Hall probably hasn't been as good over the whole season as he was last year, I'd say that Kirk is a monty for this year's award.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

              My tips:
              - Kirk to poll higher in the B&F but Hall to poll higher in the Brownlow
              - Buchanan to round out the top 5 in the B&F

C Bolton would be top 3 with Hall and Kirk IMHO, not too sure who would slot into 4 and 5.

Jude has worked hard all season, don't think he will win but wouldn't surprise me to see him up there.

I reckon the voting is going to be very close. I jotted a few names down recently and came to the conclusion there are probably a dozen players who are certainties for a top 10 finish!

Leo will be up there in the top 5 I reckon, and I'd pencil young Ablett in for the other spot. But that leaves out Jude (who had a sensational first half of the season - was probably leading when he did his hammie) and Kennelly who will have come with a late rush in the second half of the year.

And how about O'Loughlin, who has had his best season for a few years and has been exquisite at times?

Goodes has bounced back pretty well, and probably suffers a bit because we tend to judge him against his absolute best.

And Crouch always does his job with minimum of fuss and consistently polls well with the coaches.

I expect Kirk and Hall to fill the top 2 positions but the rest could fall anywhere.
