    Please Daily Telegraph.......

If you are reading this board, now is the time to whip the crowd into a frenzy for Friday nights game, to make the atmosphere at the SCG as intimidating as possible.

    So how about the following:

    * Another one of those "Operation de-sex the Cats" that they ran in 1996 or against Collingwood a couple of years ago

    * Or a misqoute from an unkown Geelong offical about how Sydney has no football culture and will never win a premiership until it does

Anyone else with ideas for the media to make the SCG crowd go mental?

I think that recalling last Friday nights game will be enough to make the crowd go mental. I feel mental!

      * Announce pre match that Ben Matthews has taken over as captain from Barry Hall.
      * Announce Leo Barry has been dropped, with LRT taking his full-back spot as we need to give the youth further development in finals pressure.
      * Show a close up of Shane McInerny sitting in the corporates next to Demitriou and co wearing a cat's scarf and an Eagles beanie.
      * Tell the crowd that there will be no beer served.

Crowd needs to take in last weeks game and let it all out in spades back at the umpires and opposition. Basically get all of their frustrations off their chests.

So give the umpires hell when they enter the ground and boo & snarl at the cats when they enter the SCG.

We copped it big time last week from those morons in WA.

Geelong are mentally weak on the road and a hostile enviroment will rattle them.

The challenge has been issued to the crowd.

Totally agree mate and I accept the challenge! Normally I am up in the O'Reilly but I specifically went for tkts on the fence so I could yell absolute crap at the umpires particularly when there is a boundary throw in right in front of me...will we have the pleasure of one Darren Goldspink?!?!?

I love it, surely the club can get a production company to mock it up and have it played on the screen before the game.

Why the Tele? I would have thought Swans fans are just as likely to be Herald readers?

No matter what you think of the Weagles ferals, the roar that came with the first bounce last Friday was spine tingling. If we match that we're doing our bit for our team. The Cats can be a bit fragile and rattling them from the stands is all we can do.

I'd like to boo the umpires when they come on but my only aim is to help win this one and I don't think initial hostility will help our cause.

That's the go, but don't forget to take that anger and serve it up to the Cats. They are as soft as butter and will fold quicker than a pack of cards.

Show no mercy, because we aint going to get any next week against the Saints in Melbourne.

We have seats on the fence and will be giving everyone hell. I must remember to leave my good sport(wo)manship at home... Do we really want the umpires to fear for their lives a la Goldspink Rd 8 (??) though?

As Geelong had the pleasure of him last week hopefully we won't have his company this week.

Make a sonic boom every time the ball is in the forward line. Make the umps see free kicks that aren't even there.

Just at the start of the game, so they know who the home team is and that decisions against us won't be tolerated under any circumstances.

I am really looking forward to the crowds reaction when the umps walk out for the first time and hold the ball up.

Actually that is worse as seeing he is one of the "best" umpires as mentioned in the Herald Sun yesterday he will umpire Power V Crows leaving him to umpire us vs the Saints on PF day...

Am I right that umpires never umpire the same team two weeks in a row. If that is right it means he can't do a Prelim and the Grand final!
