    Junior Members Tickets

Gday, my brother and i are members of the swans. i am 16 and he is 15 and we have concession and junior memberships respectivly. On monday i rang up ticketek to buy tickets to the match on friday with my dads credit card assuming that we could pick them up on the night. We got an email yesterday saying that to avoid queueing on friday we should pick them up at one of a few collection points. As my brother was playing water polo at homebush today he went to pick them up but was refused, even though he had copies of dads drivers license, credit card as well as id of his own and his membership card.

Dad will now have to either drive to homebush or get to the match on friday to pick up the tickets for us.

I am just amazed that there is no way for junior members to go to a football game on their own.

I've had trouble with that before. I booked 12 concession tickets online with my mum's credit card, and they wouldn't let me collect them. They were for my birthday celebration.

I cried. They game me the tickets. Works every time .

I remember the same thing happened with my son when he ordered a concert ticket last year and my wife had to go to the Hordern Pavilion to pick it up.
Don't know whether it's an age thing or whether there's concerns about the use of somebody else's credit card. There's all these checks and balances they put into place and it can be very frustrating when you know everything is above board. I would have thought this was low risk if it involved a Swans supporter ..... hehe.
