urgh... I get what they are trying to do, but it doesn't look like it has been overly well executed, although it does load okay into Mozilla for me.
1. the style sheet doesn't seem to load first time- it is okay after a refresh... I tested with IE and had the same problem.
2. Is it that hard to ensure equal spacing for the tabs?
3. the banner: I realize what they wanted from the picture, but the image of Hall is not exactly great.
4. the banner: white on the left has splashes of differing colours, whilst the red on the right just has white faded in... which looks off balance.
5. the titles of the tabs could be a bit more obvious, I realize they were the same on the old site but if they were giving it an overhaul then this would have been a good time to address it
6. some of the tabs just open up the old page and the common look/feel for the portal-in-a-box is lost
I must admit, part of me is always glad to see someone else suffer a bit on a go live date..
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
It's an improvement but flashy design and graphics can't hide lack of content.
The Swans website is a joke quite frankly and we should follow Essendon's lead by setting up a proper website free of the template Telstra one.

Essendon are a good example to follow as far as additional content goes. They have quite a lot of stuff that is exclusive to their site and it brings the punters in (and we have been through the whole issue of the financial benefits from telstra to the club the more folks look at the site).
