Might have been brought in to play on Goldspink.
hehehehehe
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
Bevo was most effective last year when he was playing a exclusive tagging role on the opposition's best small forward but not so effective this year when they tried him out more in the mid-field.
Roos' ploy may be to play him on SOG when playing forward and release Crouch to play a more attacking midfield role.
Voguls or Schauble should be back next week if we win, as we need extra height against Saints.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

I think you'll find that Hall and Kirk are our biggest culprits there. So, as with all things, its the other areas that must outweigh this part of Bevans game.
Hope he has a blinder though.
I feel sorry for Vogels, but isn't it great to have choices at this time of the year!
"Fortunately, this is the internet, so knowing nothing is no obstacle to having an opinion!." Beerman 18-07-2017
"Sydney coach Paul Roos conceded Vogels was "a bit stiff" to be dropped, but Bevan was being selected for his versatility.
"With Bevo's ability to play in different positions - forward, midfield and back - that's probably the main reason to bring him in," Roos said on Thursday morning.
...
With Sydney anticipating another hard-at-it tussle against Geelong, Roos admits Bevan is being selected partly for his courage and bullocking work around the packs.
"I think (that with) every game that's been played (during the finals) certainly the hardest team, or the team that can sustain the hardest for the longest, has been able to win.
"Certainly that's an edge that Bevo gives us. We know he's hard, we know he's hard, we know he tackles well and we know he can play in different positions. Certainly we think it's an area that he's going to help us out.
Moore would of been my inclusion if there was someone to be dropped but gee Voges is stiff as. Good luck to Bevo though, let's hope he's improved his awareness and his disposals in his long stint in the magoos.

Sounds like Bevan is in as back-up if WIllo and Ablett don't get through a full game, or at least to let them rest a little. I too hope he goes well, I really enjoyed watching him play last year and hope to see more of it. But having seen him play the last couple of weeks makes me think a few have been hardly done by. I'd say experience has played a part in the decision.
