I just spoke to a friend of mine who has followed the Swans since they moved to Sydney. She said she's really nervous today as this is the most complete Swans team she has ever seen. She is worried because she thinks they really can make it. But she isn't positive that we'll beat the Cats tomorrow - or the Saints if we get there. But, as she said "if we lose to the Cats it's because we simply aren't good enough". That didn't make me feel better, either.

I agree with the first part, "the most complete Swans team", I have mentioned that to a few ppl I know too.

One stat that is very relevant and gives me confidence is Geelongs appalling interstate form. I'd reckon it has tro be the worst in the AFL over the past three years

15 matches played interstate since 2003 for 1 solitary win (by 4pts) against a huge out-of-sorts Port earlier this year. (Port went on to get smashed by Richmond the following weekend to be sitting on 1 win from 6 games).
